Just a bunch of QFT calculations

Admitting the various results of quantum field theory, and getting all the results we know from the S-matrix, the LSZ reduction formula and other matters, what can we get from scattering results?

Pure scalar fields

The standard scalar field theory in QFT is the quartic interaction :

\begin{equation} \mathcal{L} = \eta^{\mu\nu} (\partial_\mu \varphi)(\partial_\nu \varphi) - \end{equation}
